Garibaldi in London: 150 years on

This April marked 150 years since Garibaldi’s famous visit to London, in April 1864. Historians, BSR members and experts gathered to commemorate the event at a  celebratory dinner, organised by Dr Marcella Sutcliffe (Rome Awardee 2013-14). The event was held at the Fishmongers’ Hall, which Garibaldi visited.
